I am Walata Marie Craigie. I am a sole practitioner and owner of Atalaw solicitors.

From a young age I wanted to help people obtain justice. I started my legal career in a high street firm in Tottenham in 1998 as an office junior/ outdoor clerk/ receptionist.

I worked in the day and studied A ‘level’s in the evenings. I went on to work for numerous solicitor firms as a clerk/paralegal whilst completing a law degree and then a legal practice course. I obtained a training contract and qualified as a Solicitor in 2007.

Since qualifying I have been the head of housing departments in three high street firms. I have a strong opinion as to the high level of service clients should expect and do deserve. Adopting those principles, I felt that it was time to open my own office.

The office is located in a quiet side street in Barnet, a five-minute drive from Arnos Grove Underground station. There is free parking on the surrounding residential roads.
